HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU RESTRING YOUR RACQUET?
Tennis strings gradually lose tension and responsiveness, even when they haven't broken. Over time, this can affect the feel, control and consistency of your shots.
A simple rule of thumb is to consider restringing as many times per year as you play each week.
For example, if you play twice a week, you might restring twice a year. Frequent players or those who notice a change in feel may need to restring more often.
A fresh restring can help restore the feel you're used to.
TIP: Look after your racquet by keeping it out of direct sunlight and never leaving it in a hot car.

I personally string every racquet myself. With 25+ years of stringing experience and a background as New Zealand’s No. #1 tennis player, I understand how much the right racquet setup can influence your game.
Tennis has always been a huge part of my life, and restringing is something I take personally. I’ve spent countless hours stringing my own racquets and those of other players, learning how different strings and tensions can affect performance.
Every player and every game is different. That’s why I believe restringing should be tailored to you — your racquet, your playing style and how you want it to feel on court.
